Public Trust Environmental Legal Institute of Florida

The primary purpose of the Public Trust is to invoke the law to protect the lands, waters, wildlife, and natural resources of Northeast Florida by creating programs to prepare the next generations of environmental advocate. The Public Trust uses the court system when necessary to enforce the public’s right to access and enjoy these special places held within the public trust. The organization is also dedicated to the zealous protection of Jacksonville’s “Preservation Project” properties.
